ADMISSIONS

The function of the Office of Admissions is to assist potential students in the application process as well as to direct and manage an intense recruitment and retention plan. This office processes all applications for admissions and financial aid.

Clinton Junior College has curriculum designed to offer educational opportunities to a wide range of students who show academic promise. Therefore, Clinton Junior College has an Open Admissions Policy. In order to be accepted, the student must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Scholastic Aptitude Tests are helpful for evaluation purposes, but not necessary for admissions. Upon being accepted, each student will be given a series of tests to determine the best arrangement of courses. Applicants not educated in the United States, or for whom English is not a vative language are required to submit a passing score on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) prior to admission. Students are accepted for both the fall and semesters.
