Mickey Beckham is a graduate of Furman University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a degree in education, emphasizing higher education administration. He has been a senior development officer since 1968 at Furman University, the Medical University of South Carolina, Saint Louis University, and the medical center affiliate with Case Western University in Cleveland Ohio. He has directed capital campaigns at all of these institutions and has been identified with over a half billion dollars raised in his career. He has taught private support at Vanderbilt University and Case Western University. He is one of the most experienced development officers in South Carolina, having also conducted a feasibility study and acted as consultant for Clinton Junior College’s new library.
