AAS 201 African American Studies I

Develop an awareness and understanding of the Afro-American history and experience in this country from an Afro-centric perspective.

AAS 202 African American Studies II
3 hours
An advanced continuation of African American Studies I.

BIOLOGY COURSES
BIO 101 Human Biology I
3 hours
Fundamental aspect of biology, the structure of the body, and the functions of the various organ systems.

BIO 101L Human Biology Lab I
1 hour
Experiments in the study of the human body and its systems.

BIO 102 Human Biology II
3 hours
Detailed instruction on the reproductive system and how sexually transmitted diseases affect the human population. Addresses chromosomal inheritance, medical genetics, DNA, and biotechnology. Prerequisite: BIO 101
